The table is set up with so much personalized attention i do urge you to let them know when making your reservation what you’re celebrating. We were celebrating our anniversary and our seats were decorated with beautiful real rose petals, small mason jars filled with spiced nuts, little boxes of little Austrian chocolates, it was so unbelievable... my hubby and I aren’t red wine drinkers but they have a very special selection that was a perfect match with all the food. Our glasses were NEVER empty. We were smiling and laughing together with the other guests and Nicky and Chef Frankie the whole time! The......food.... is...... AMAZING!!!!! Seriously the creative genius behind Chef Frankie is so incredible. I’m a foodie and hobby chef at home and I just have so much respect for the flavors he was so bold to put together and literally made my mouth melt at every bite. Thank you Nicky and Frankie for such a WONDERFUL evening. We will most certainly be back, with lots of friends!!! Can’t wait to share this experience with our closest friends and family!!! Great finding and very different experience I made a reservation not knowing what to expect as it is not a traditional restaurant but, we like to try different things so I was very intrigued and WOW what a great experience. It is private dining, you have the place to yourself and the Chef and Nikki are there to make your experience wonderful and the food ……… what can I say, just amazing. Definitely worth going and I will go back for sure, great idea for a birthday party or special occasion or just a fun different night with friends, just loved it 😍

An Experience That Truly Has No Price! I recently had the great pleasure of celebrating my birthday at The House of Food Porn with two very special people. I have to say, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but when I saw the video of a woman starting to get emotional when describing it, I knew I had to go. The reservation process was straightforward and Nicky (Chef Frank’s wife) made it quite easy.

I must say that Nicky is the conductor of this magical creation symphony. The greeting you receive from Nicky when you arrive is like walking in through the front door of your family’s home on Thanksgiving. She is very welcoming and immediately really makes you feel at home. The setting is very intimate and really resembles a family meal type of environment. Nicky continues throughout the entire experience with great conversations and descriptions of the cocktails being provided.

Now let’s talk about Chef Frank and his amazing creations! Using the word food to describe the journey in tastes we experienced is a galactic understatement. We did the 11 course meal. The size of the creations seem small, but they are packed with proteins and flavors that will make your tongue dance a little salsa!! I would recommend to everyone the 11 course meal because it is a flavorful journey of a lifetime. Not to give anything away, but the final two courses are worth the price of the entire experience themselves.

The wine was delicious and never ending. The champagne cocktails were amazing and unique, each in their own way. I had never had infused water before, but it was the perfect compliment to prepare yourself in between courses.

Overall, I will never look at dining out again the same way. We had great conversations with the other 5 people in the room, so that definitely adds to the experience. A 5 star rating of excellent does not appropriately rate what you will experience at The House of Food Porn. Watch the video of the woman getting emotional during her description and follow your heart to The House of Food Porn…I guarantee you will never regret it and you will have experienced something that you will remember for life!!

Unique and Delicious My husband and I had the 6-course "Shushi" dinner. The whole experience was truly memorable! The chef has a concept for food in sushi-shaped format - but this is fully cooked, highly varied cuisine. Besides the quality of the food, it was a ton of fun to have just 8 others in the restaurant. This is a group experience with the chef Franco and the hostess Nikky directing the evening. Highly recommended!

A friend of mine kept mentioning about a new spot opened up in Little Haiti which had a crazy name. We finally found it online and gave it a shot last night. We came in at around 8 pm and it was pretty packed. The food was insanely good, I knew from the first bite that I was in for a good time. The prices disappointed me though, these guys serve simple comfort food so I really don't know why it's so expensive, must be all the hype they're getting.

The coolest experience! Chef Franco and Nicky treat you like royalty! My husband and I took our daughter and her boyfriend here for her 22nd birthday (I personally am a repeat customer and was so excited to share this little secret with my family). Chef Franco is beyond talented! Each one of his shushi courses are masterpieces. Be adventurous... I promise he doesn't throw anything weird at you and even if he did, you would still love it. And then there's Nicky... she makes the other half of the experience. She is genuinely warm and so much fun! She will keep your glass full of wine and treat you with other crafty cocktails. I don't want to give you every detail because you MUST experience this for yourself! I will say that they made my daughter feel beyond special on her birthday and everyone is now as obsessed with this place as I am!

Eclectic hidden gem. Amazing twist on sushi in ways you've never thought possible. Try the meatloaf role. My favorite. Food was great!! Give it a try. And they cater.

We had the best time eating here. What a unique concept that you cannot find anywhere in Miami! We truly loved being wined and dined without a worry of a menu. We felt like we were in chef francos home and Niki was an amazing hostess. 100% recommend this to anyone that is not scared of an adventure! Can't wait to go back!

It is the House of Food Porn This is a very unusual restaurant. The chef and his wife personally serve you. It is a chef selection of sushi like rolls, but made with meats, vegetables, and rice. All delicious and unique.

Best anniversary dinner ever I hope I can Make this review as special as they made the experience for us.
First, made my reservation online for our 1 year anniversary. They have a comment section that they ask you to describe the occasion and other things about yourself, which they remember ! That’s always a great thing to do as a business. Upon entering, we weren’t sure where to park (behind not on the side). There’s a doorbell, you ring and they welcome you like a Cuban family party, open arms, hugs/handshakes and all. You’ll be surprised walking in at the beautiful yet simple decor with a 1500 piece chandelier put together by Nicky herself. She welcomes you and sits you at your pre assigned seats. It feels like a bar but decorated with rose petals, name tags, “feliz anniversario” (happy anniversary) and cute mason jars and chocolates. They put chickpeas and wasabi for snacks while they serve you wine and infused water. Nicky explains where she’s from and how the chocolates come from her amazing country of Germany. Nicky is a great hostess, your glass is never empty! You may have more than a bottle so please be sure to drink at your pace or have an uber ready
Next, Frankie explains to you the restaurant and prepares the 6- course meal. I’d have to say each and every dish was delicious and had amazing flavors that’ll bring out all your happiest taste buds. From rolls filled with lamb and fillet minion to rolls filled with every fish in the sea, you will not complain. It’s a true foodies adventure land. The smallest downside besides being in the “ghetto”, is if you’re not a drinker, you may find the price to be a little out of budget. The food is worth It regardless, if i did This again, id do an 8-course meal or have them cater a party! I love The concept and will be coming again!

An absolute must! This was my second time having the pleasure of dining at HFP and it was nothing less than extraordinary, again. From the moment we walked in I was greeted by Nicky as if I was a longtime friend. The details she remembers is quite impressive and speaks to the effort she puts into making you feel special. The ambiance is great and always fun to meet and converse with new people from all over. Chef Franco is a true artist! The presentation, flavor, complexity is all superb! Wow Wow Wow!!! I was looking for a unique dining experience to celebrate our wedding anniversary when I found the House of Food Porn. I figured it had to be good with a name like that! I did my research online and although it is quite a bit more expensive than our typical date night, it seemed like something different and delicious.

The neighborhood is known to be rough, (do yourself a favor and take an Uber) but at the moment we were greeted at the door by the lovely Nicky and entered the “house” the experience began. Were introduced to the friendly and talented Chef Franco, Natalia (who kept my wine glass full up until it was time to say goodnight) and the six other guests …Honestly, I don’t want to share too many details of this experience, so as not to spoil ALL of the lovely surprises awaiting the guests at this special place!

I will share that I was surprised by the complexity in the combinations and the high quality ingredients in the shu-shi. Every bite is like an explosion of unique flavors in your mouth. Chef even treated us to a taste of amazing A4 olive fed wagu beef.

I travel the world and visit restaurants that are well known as well as small and unique... I search for restaurants that have food that surprises me .. great ingredients, unpretentious and welcoming vibe.. House of Food Porn delivers and exceeds on all fronts. No menu which is a treat .. Chef Frank was our guide to amazing flavors from exceptional ingredients perfectly paired delivering extreme yumminess..
Nicky his partner welcomed us and introduced us to the concepts and told us we were in our home.. and it truly felt like we were with family.
The entire night was magical.. We will return and bring friends...

Booked this dinning experience for my girlfriend and I's anniversary based off of trip advisor reviews. It's not in the nicest area. Honestly we're we weary of going into the place when we were pulling up, had to double check the address. Once we walked in our skepticism was met with the nicest host, Nicole, who sat us at the restaurants community table top, which was a U shape where the host and chef presented in the middle. The food was awesome. The hosts were lively. The drinks were phenomenal. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This place is def worth the experience and next time we are in Miami we will try to go again.

Fresh concept, intimate venue, and incredible food presented by 3 very special people. The first time my wife & I dined at the House with Chef Frank and his amazing host Nicky, it was just after the second course when we were already planning our return visit and with who we were going to bring with us. Our next visit was with seven of our closet friends for my wife's birthday. We couldn't have chosen a better spot. Chef Frank's ShuShi concept is spectacular. You can virtually taste the tradition & passion in each bite. Take notice as your glass will be full throughout each course. Wait until you meet Nicky. She will make you feel at home while also personally providing you with a sought-after level of attentiveness. The House welcomes you into their dining room with a clear cut view of the open kitchen where each course is meticulously prepared. And finally, one of our favorite & coolest things about this place is that we not only had an amazing meal & experience but we also walked away with two new friends, Frank & Nicky.

This is the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had! What an amazing experience! I can’t think of a better culinary evening. The food, the individualized care and attention, the showmanship and the intimacy were unique. There are no places like this out there. I would fly back to Miami just to dine here again. The rolls were authentic and the combination of flavors was simply genius. I loved the setup, it’s like being in a classy dream. The Chef’s storytelling and engagement as he described how he carefully designed each roll just for me was truly amazing. Nicky, on the other hand, diligently made sure nothing was amiss managing the whole experience while the artist created his masterpieces. I told my boyfriend that this was the best NYE dinner I’ve ever had; a truly beautiful unforgettable evening, filled with warm deliciousness and awesomeness. I know I won’t be able to fully express how I felt and still feel from this experience, but I’ll simply say that I felt touched, moved... it made me feel loved and very special.

PHENOMENAL experience from start to end I reached out to House of Food Porn via email not quite knowing what to expect, but intrigued by the reviews I'd seen online. I was in search of a special dinner experience for my sister's bachelorette weekend. Within minutes, Nicky got back to me. She was excited and accommodating and assured me that she and Chef would take care of every detail to ensure our evening was amazing. I took the plunge and paid for a 6-course tasting.

I won't ruin the allure by including all of the details of our night, but I will say it was a one-of-a-kind dinner experience that our group, which consisted of 16 women who have traveled all over the world and have been exposed to the best of the best, was absolutely blown away by and continues to talk about over a week later.

The personalized touches, the decor and intimate nature of the space, the food, the special cocktail and the wine - all FANTASTIC. Nicky and Chef went above and beyond for us. (We even had a couple dietary restrictions in the group that they graciously worked around and those dishes were excellent, too!) Despite coming hungry, we couldn't finish our food or our drinks; there was so much and it was all delicious!

By the end, we were all hugging Nicky and Chef, we didn't want to leave!

I've gotten SO many kudos from everyone for organizing this experience; I felt, and continue to feel, a real sense of pride for having discovered and having exposed our group to the magic that is House of Food Porn. I hope to have the opportunity to go back. In the meantime, I'll be telling anyone visiting Miami to make their way.

Absolutely Wonderful! We went to the House for our 9th anniversary, what a wonderful evening! We have never been to such a welcoming restaurant. Couple that with great food and delicious wine and drinks and you simply could not ask for more. If we could give the House more than 5 stars we would!

My last visit was very special because I am no longer vegetarian and I was very excited to try all specialties of chef Frank not only the meatless version of it.
I've tried numerous fabulous rolls but my favorite one was the one filled with tender smoked black angus beef, capers and truffle topped with beluga caviar.
The food was so flavorful. The presentation was beautiful and every bite was like heaven. Nicky was amazing she was so engaging and attentive! She made sure we had everything we need.
For dessert we had Chef Frank's signature FRANKATORTA with homemade guava marmalade and mentecado which tested PHENOMENAL!
If you want great food, service, vibe, and ambience this is the place for you!

Each of my tasting courses just kept getting better and better.From 1 to 10 the food was a 30 and the experience was a 40. This was my best culinary experience in my 52 years. You must experience the love and the passion of House Of Food Porn.

FIVE STARS IS NOT ENOUGH! When arriving at the venue my partner and I were a little confused. However our confusion was soon replaced of joy and light, when Nikki invited us in. Never before have we visited a restaurant with so much personality and we instantly felt home. We were celebrating my partners birthday (on New Years eve) and our hosts had made personalized birthday decorations, in the middle of all the fun and beautiful New Years deco. We really didn’t have any expectations about the food, but WOAW an experience. All the dishes was so well put together, so much attention to detail shows that the chef is a master in his field, and a foodie at heart.

I would recommend “the house” to everyone who loves food and want to have a experience you wont forget, with beautiful people.

Lots of Fun! What a cool experience! Chef Franki and Nikki serve sushi in the most unconventional format. They like to borrow cuisines from other countries and create "shushi", with an added twist. The atmosphere was very intimate as only one other couple was dining with us at the same time. Would absolutely recommend and look forward to coming back!

My wife and I celebrated her birthday here with an 11 course seating. While I initially thought it was a bit pricey I believe after experiencing the food and atmosphere it may be underpriced. The champagne cocktails, unique ShuShi, wine, custom place settings, and unmatched service I can say I could not be happier with what we experienced. We plan to return in the future to experience new delights from the chef. If you are in Miami or visiting and want a truly unique experience give them a call.

Innovative and delicious I went there with friends and OMG ... what a surprise... combinations of flavors and technique a hospitality experience that can not be missed... My favorite the blackened Salmon Roll.

Amazingly unique experience! This restaurant is an amazing, one of a kind experience. The couple who run it are genuinely nice and do everything they can to make sure you have a great time. I had an awesome night with my family and learned how to make awesome fusion “shushi” rolls. We all had an extremely fun time and would 100% come back. The chef is also extremely knowledgeable about sushi and isn’t afraid to tell you how to make your perfect sushi roll. Way better than any restaurant you would normally go to, and you leave with a great experience and sushi kit!
