It was a special day coming up for us, we wanted to celebrate our first baby son's birthday and planned a romantic candlelight dinner. Chef created an 8-course dining experience including dessert, which was pure foodgasm. His creativity has no limits, he combines flavors that are deliciously crafted in rolls, including their phenomenal red house wine and a little personal present and a complimentary champagne cocktail! Should you ever consider to have a foodie dinner in a cozy and intimate atmosphere, do not miss out on the opportunity to dine at the House of Food Porn. Neglect the outside, it is in a developing area, the inside is beautiful. A night out with friends Wow!! Wow!! Wow!!! Where do I begin. I had seen the pictures but had no idea what I was getting into when I walked through the doors of the House of Food Porn. When Frankie told us the one rule was we couldn't ask what we were eating until after we tried it, I have to admit, I was a little nervous. The moment I made up my mind that I was all in for this experience, the evening just became more amazing. Trying to determine the flavors of the creations he made only added to enjoyment of the experience. In addition to the incredible food we were served, Frankie and Nicky are absolutely wonderful people. Yes, they are preparing the food and ensuring we had everything we needed, but the intimate setting make them part of the party and trust me, you wouldn't want it any other way. All I can say is if you are in Miami, you have to try this place. There is nowhere else you will have an evening like this. Frankie and Nicky!!! Amazing Experience! LOVE IT. I LOVE LOVE LOVE House of Food Porn. The name got us and I am glad we made reservations to try this place out. This place is so unique and the story behind it is amazing. This was a super intimate dinner experience for me and my girlfriends! We had the uber drop us off and it looked dark and looked like it was closed, but theres a doorbell there and we rang it. A beautiful woman name Nikki opens the door and welcomes us. We walk in and its super adorable, romantic inside. We walk in and its just beautifully decorated for our party. She was so welcoming, we felt so comfortable with her and then the Chef comes out and introduces himself. He told us his history and how he came u with House of Food Porn. The both of them made our experience so fun. I can't explain their menu because THERE IS NO SET MENU! The chefs creative mind creates his food on the spot so you never know what you're going to get. We ordered the 4 course and DAMN that made me super full on the third course. Some example ingredients he used for us: truffle, chicken, avocado, black rice, lobster, prosciutto, plantain ..... the experience was amazing, the chef and nikki were superb! They also gave us home made wine which was amazing and I normally don't like wine! That's gotta say something! Highly recommend this place for both a GREAT TIME AND GREAT FOOD!!!

The best anniversary and the best dinner ever!!!!! Words can’t describe the occasion that my future fiancé and I, and also the three other guest that we had in attendance. Everything from the ambiance, the hostess, waitress, wine, service, and especially the food. Words can’t describe the masterpieces that were bestowed to us. Above expectations I took my wife to this place basically due to ear catching name and excellent reviews. While driving to the neighborhood initially I thought that I will be in a dog house in the best case scenario. Well.... Franco and Nikki made that experience to be one of the highlights visiting Miami. True family room feel, exactly what they are looking for, very entertaining, great food, discovered cooking skills.... Ambience, again, way worth a visit. Thank you Chef Franco for making a wonderful night out for us. PS: if not taking Uber or etc, parking in the back seems secure enough

Nicky and Chef Franco create a warm, inviting environment that goes above and beyond any expectation I had. All the small details they take upon themselves to perfect make the dining experience that much better. They had surprises lined up for us the whole evening, starting with the beautiful personalized table settings, fantastic wine, awesome cocktails, great conversation, and off course the one and only Shushi! The mystery of not knowing what your next bite will be is part of the allure of The House of Food Porn, and we were never disappointed. Every dish was quite an adventure, that always ended with a great story from Chef Franco explaining how each dish came to be. In the world we're living now, they took every precaution to make us feel safe with clean wash clothes in between each dish and maintained social distancing. Amazing experience I Had Shushi last night with some great friends to celebrate a birthday. We were met with Nicky who is an amazing hostess, who welcomes you with the most delicious wine and a little mason jar of spiced mix with wasabi. Shushi Chef Frank came out to say hello and gave us a warm welcome as well. He proceeded to prepare his rolls which were the cause of our taste buds exploding. The most unique twist to any roll anyone can possibly imagine. I highly recommend this experience with them because the ambience and food is perfect. Thank you guys for the great food and laugh!!

The House of Food Porn! When we found Chef's Frank live cooking experience on Groupon, we just bought the voucher for a friend, mainly because our friend is a gourmet and the name sounded fun. We were 2 couples and gave it a try. Oh boy, we are hooked for the rest of our lives, the rolls were delicious and Chef Frank entertained us the whole evening! We had a blast and loved the omakase idea of having not a menu but the chef decides what you are going to taste that night. I pick out of all numerous fabulous rolls my favourite which was the one filled with black angus beef, capers and truffle. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and watching Chef Frank doing magic and rolling one fantastic roll after the other. For dessert we had a roll filled with guava paste, fresh cream cheese and chocolate chip cookie bits which tasted PHENOMENAL!!! Go and try this place, it is AWESOME!

Unique Date Night! This was by the best and most unique eating experience I ever had. We were met with love from the minute we walked in and that carried through out the whole night. Each course was beautiful to look at and exciting to eat. After each course the chef would share the details of the plate and allow us to guess we just ate to test out palates. The cocktails (especially the love potion) were wonderful and the service was great. All in all it was a great night filled with laughter, good wine, great food, and excellent company.

Birthday party What a sensational experience. As a group of 12 celebrating a birthday, every one of us enjoyed every byte and every moment. Our host Nicky was exceptionally friendly. Chef Frank was artistic and refined. The ambience was seductive and warm. And the price was entirely worth the memories we made. A top recommendation for anyone looking for excellent food and a great place to take a gathering.

Shushilicious Experience! Because we had a reservation for a private gathering, we had the whole joint to ourselves. It was so much fun to interact with Nikki and Chef Frank. Our experience was intimate, educational and a whole of of fun! While Chef concocted 6 courses of amazing rolls, Nikki was pouring the wine and spirits. We started with an uber delicious vegetarian roll with beets and kale, moved on to a mac and cheese roll that was out of this world and then followed with an additional 4 rolls that included salmon, crunchy salmon skin, and lamb! The rolls included sushi rice, Haitian rice, and a few were wrapped in soy paper. The presentation for each roll was beautiful as they included impeccably curated and pickled toppings as well as an array of sauces to complement each roll. Chopsticks??? No way...we consumed everything with our hands on top of chef created and designed wood canvases. Between the shots of jamaican ginger beer and rum and the mini bloody Mary, Nikki took plenty of pictures of our party. This was an absolutely unexpected experience and we will definitely return. Thank you for the food porn, Nikki and Chef Frank!!

An Evening Not To Be Missed A night at House of Food Porn is so much more than an unbelievably good meal (although it is certainly that). Chef Franco and Nicky put together an unforgettable evening in every respect.

It starts as soon as you walk in the door and are greeted by Nicky who wraps every guest with her welcoming warmth and begins actively building connections with all so that, by the time they leave, they do so as friends, not just clients. And throughout that time, from walking in the door at 7pm to being hugged on the way out around 10pm, Nicky and Chef Franco have poured their passion and creativity into making every aspect fun and memorable.

Obviously, the food is the star – but its not simply outstanding food. Its playful, surprising and truly unique. You are not going to get the best beef wellington you’ve ever had or a new exciting take on a classic dish. Instead, you get course after course of dishes you can’t name and could never have imagined and will struggle to describe to your friends. But every one will be absolutely delicious with a wide range of flavors and textures and temperatures dancing in your mouth.

And they make it a game of it – never telling you what is in each course until after you eat it and have guessed at the components based on what you see and taste. That process makes it fun, but it also actively engages your taste buds to a level that wouldn’t happen if you were just enjoying and not trying to unpack and identify each element. And, in addition to making it fun, they make it absolutely beautiful – the plating and presentations add an extra element to the evening.

I should also note that everything described above in regard to the food applies equally to the drinks. You see a similar devotion to creativity and to the layering of flavors and artistry in presentation in every drink. Nicky is less religious about making you taste before she reveals the secrets of her libations, but your taste buds get no less of a work out seeking out the hints of each carefully selected ingredient.

The only negative I can say about the place is it is somewhat of a tease. You will desperate want to taste the creations again and both Chef Franco and Nicky are generous in sharing fairly detailed descriptions of how they create each and every masterpiece. But it is all so unique and so perfectly executed that you will never be able to come close to getting your fix trying to recreate it on your own. So, we’ll have to satisfy our new addiction with another reservation soon …

We had the best time eating here. What a unique concept that you cannot find anywhere in Miami! We truly loved being wined and dined without a worry of a menu. We felt like we were in chef francos home and Niki was an amazing hostess. 100% recommend this to anyone that is not scared of an adventure! Can't wait to go back!

A delicious twist on Shushi! This was our first (but not last) time at House of Food Porn. We had a fantastic time and evening! The food and Chef Franco were excellent, loved trying and guessing what shushi dishes we were having. And the wine was really, really good. Hostess Nicky served the best 7 layer dessert drink we've ever had, she should bottle it. Both Chef and Hostess do great job of involving every, we felt like friends with the other guests.

What can I say about this place. The food, the ambience, and the service from the chef is superb. You have to have an open mind, if you want to eat your traditional food go some place else. If you want to try something especial that will questions your palate you want to come here.

AMAZING-MUST TRY!!!!! I got this experience for my sister for her birthday because she loves sushi. However, what we got was so much more. Not only were the was the chef and hostess the most amazing and kind people, but the ambience and food were amazing. The table was decorated in celebration and we had such an amazing time. We talked to the other guests, our cups were always full and we had a blast trying to guess what food was in the rolls. It was truly a unique experience and my sister and I had such an amazing time. Thank you so much for helping my my sister's birthday trip to Miami so memorable. If we find our way back to Miami we are definitely coming back!

I've tried numerous fabulous rolls but my favorite one was the one filled with tender smoked black angus beef, capers and truffle topped with beluga caviar.
The food was so flavorful. The presentation was beautiful and every bite was like heaven. Nicky was amazing she was so engaging and attentive! She made sure we had everything we need.
For dessert we had Chef Frank's signature FRANKATORTA with homemade guava marmalade and mentecado which tested PHENOMENAL!
If you want great food, service, vibe, and ambience this is the place for you!

What an experience! My visit at Franco was something i'll never forget! The food was so so good, and I just love the way it was prepared. Franco is amazing at prepping the food in front of us, and engaging in fun conversations too. Nikki was just as great, making me feel like we were friends from way back! She's wonderful, and serving us with wonderful and tasty shots throughout the meal. My favourite was definitely the Bloody Mary:)

Best Dining Experience WOW. That is the first thing that comes to my mind. Dining at the House of Food Porn has been the best dining experience I have had in every expect. The food was phenomenal, the service was one of a kind, and the environment was beautifully unique. Nikki and Frankie are so amazing! You walk into their restaurant and Nikki greets you by your name and welcomes you into their home as if you were long time friends. Trust me, 10 minutes in you really feel like you are one of their friends. I had messaged Nikki previously to make sure that their restaurant was LGBTQ friendly, as I was going to be dining with my girlfriend. Nikki and Frankie were very welcoming of us and treated us like any other guest of theirs. If you are looking for somewhere to feel completely welcomed, this is the place. The unlimited wine is amazing, your glass will never go empty so definitely take an Uber/Lyft. I can honestly go on and on about this experience because that’s what it is, it’s not just dinner.
